Abstract:
To provide a fuel injection device capable of adjusting an amount of fuel between water injection layers according to engine load.SOLUTION: In a fuel injection device, a fuel injection valve is disposed on a cylinder of a marine diesel engine. A fuel injection pump pressure-feeds a fuel to the fuel injection valve through piping. A first water injection system injects water to a prescribed position of a fuel circulation passage from the fuel injection pump to an injection port of the fuel injection valve. A second water injection system injects water to a position at an upstream side in a fuel circulation direction with respect to the first water injection system, of the fuel circulation passage. A control portion controls water injection start timings of the first water injection system and the second water injection system according to engine load so that a water injection timing of the first water injection system and a water injection timing of the second water injection system are at least partially overlapped. The fuel injection valve injects the fuel pressure-fed by the fuel injection pump, the water injected by the first water injection system, and the water injected by the second water injection system in layers from the injection port to a combustion chamber in the cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
