Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fuel injection system constitutional member from its damage by correcting a fuel supply amount relating to a fuel injection nozzle of a fuel supply device, when a trouble signal is supplied from a trouble decision device, in the case of opening/closing the first nozzle and the second nozzle of diameter larger than this first nozzle by each of the first/second needle valves.
SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 10 is provided with a switching valve 66 opening/closing the first nozzle and the second nozzle having a sectional area larger than that of this first nozzle, formed in a nozzle body. Here, a spool valve position detector 134 is provided in the switching valve 66, in the case of informing of an armature 118 placed in a rising position by energization of a solenoid 76, the switching valve 66 is decided sound. On the other hand, the solenoid 76 is not lowered down despite being deenergized, the armature 118 is left as lifted, when a signal Sp is generated from the spool valve position detector 134, trouble is judged, and a fuel supply device is controlled so as to reduce a fuel supply amount in a high load high speed operating region of an engine.
