PURPOSE: To prevent adhesion of injected fuel as well as accelerate its atomization by disposing a pencil-type injector at the branch part of an intake port corresponding to two intake valves, as well as disposing a column like heating element for branching injected fuel into two directions in front of the injector.

CONSTITUTION: In a vehicular engine cylinder head provided with two intake valves per cylinder, an intake port 3 opened/closed by the intake valves 2 is provided with a pencil-type injector 6, disposed facing a partition wall 3a, for injecting fuel in one direction. A column-like heating element 7 for branching injected fuel into two directions toward the partition wall 3a with the specified angle θ is disposed right in front of the injector 6 in its fuel injecting direction and supported at the injector 6 through a pair of stays 8. The injected fuel thereby collides against the column-like heating element 7 so as to be branched into two directions toward the partition wall 3a while being atomized and made exothermic.
