PURPOSE: To stabilize the temperature of fuel to be sucked into a fuel pressurizing chamber, and concurrently stabilize fuel feed pressure in a fuel feed system.

CONSTITUTION: A check valve 541 is provided in a passage 17 at the downstream side of an armature chamber 513 which acts as a fuel feed chamber and a spill chamber, and furthermore constitutes a part of a fuel circuiting means, and it is so designed that circulating fuel is introduced into a fuel pressurizing chamber from the upstream side of the armature chamber at the time of fuel suction, and meanwhile spilt fuel from the fuel pressurizing chamber generated at the time of fuel injection finish flows from the armature chamber to downstream.
