To provide a structure for attaching a delivery valve holder to a hanger-type plunger barrel because of elevated discharge pressure of a delivery valve of a fuel injection equipment which efficiently seals and reclaims highly possible leaked oil between the undersurface of the delivery valve holder and the topside of the plunger barrel because of the elevated discharge pressure.
The undersurface of the delivery valve holder 3 is brought into intimate contact with the topside of the hanger-type plunger barrel 2 of a plunger type fuel injection pump of the structure. An annular groove 3b for receiving the leaked oil of which outer periphery is sealed is arranged on the undersurface of the delivery valve holder 3. Then an access way 3c for reclaiming leaked oil is arranged between the annular groove and a high-pressure tube coupler within the delivery valve holder 3.
