Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve a response and exhaust gas purifiction performance at acceleration from an idle condition, by extending a fuel injection time in execution by the time of asynchronous injection when an asynchronous injection signal is generated in an execution state of fuel injection.

CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 50, at acceleration of an engine from its idle condition, with a 30°CA interruption as a trigger, at a point of time erected with a synchronous injection execution flag fSYNC when an asynchronous execution flag fASYNC is already erected, calculates a fuel injection time τ from that added with as asynchronous injection time τACC to a synchronous fuel injection time (τo+τv). In this way, when the calculated fuel injection time τ exceeds an upper limit value A, the fuel injection time is limited by the upper limit value A and executed.
