Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection nozzle capable of injecting DME fuel to a combustion chamber under a supercritical state.SOLUTION: A fuel injection nozzle 1 is configured to heat DME fuel in a sack chamber 17 by combustion heat in a combustion chamber into a supercritical state. Then, a heat receiving body 22 is provided to promote heat transfer from the combustion chamber to the sack chamber 17. Thereby, the fuel immediately before injection is made into the supercritical state, and therefore, even the DME fuel whose phase state is easily changed can be reliably injected under the supercritical state. Also, to make the DME fuel into the supercritical state, there is no need for preparing a heat source and the sack chamber 17 only has to be heated using the combustion heat in the combustion chamber. Therefore, there is no need of a large-scale system. Also, a liquid phase is maintained on an upstream of a seat part 20, so that a mass injection amount can be secured.
