Abstract:
PURPOSE:To lower an injection rate at the time of low engine speed while increase the injection rate at the time of high engine speed by forming a tapered chamfer on the lower portion of a valve seat on which a needle valve is seated. CONSTITUTION:A throttle shaft portion 29 for injecting a constant quantity of fuel from the injection port 35 of a nozzle body 2 is formed on the end of a needle valve 25. In this case, a tapered chamfer 41 is formed on the lower portion of a valve seat 36 on which a needle valve 25 is seated. Hence, when the throttle shaft portion 29 is lifted up, the injection quantity on the rear end side is constant, whereas, the injection quantity on the front end side is increased in accordance with the tapering degree of the chamfer 41.
