PURPOSE: To obtain a fuel injection nozzle with a structure to reduce exhaust emissions, generally NOX by a method wherein a plurality of swirler vanes are arranged in an enlarged diameter part of a bore coaxial with the central axis of a housing, a truncated cone type blending part is made to connect the enlarged diameter part and the bore, and an inclined path is arranged crossing the direction tangential to the bore.
CONSTITUTION: A housing 70 is arranged on the axis coaxial with the center axis 78 and has a bore 80 extending between the end of a combustor and an inlet end 76 thereof. The bore 80 has an enlarged diameter part 84 near the inlet end 76 and a tapered part 86 divergent outside the end 72 of the combustor. A plurality of swirler vanes 88 are arranged in the enlarged diameter part 84. The bore 80 has a truncated cone blending part 122 extending between the enlarged diameter part 84 equipped with the swirler vanes and the bore 80. An inclined path 106 is formed in the direction tangential to the bore 80. Thus, an injection nozzle with a limited exhaust of NOX is obtained.
