Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize discontinuous movement of an adjusting plunger by render a slide face move in a sliding direction of a control slider corresponding to spring forces and in conjunction with the control pressure.
CONSTITUTION: When a control plunger 11 slides to left with respect to a slide face 10, an annular groove 21 is connected to a working chamber 27 of an adjusting plunger 1 via a control hole 24, a transversal hoe 25 and an axial hole 26, and the adjusting plunger 1 slides to left against a force of a spring 4 for early injection. When reducing a rotational frequency, the control slider 11 receives a force of a spring 15 and slides to right with respect to a slide face 15 if a control pressure in a suction chamber 8 and a chamber 14 is reduced. In this case, a working chamber 27 is connected to a pressure-releasing chamber 30 via the axial hole 26 and the transversal hole 25, and the adjusting plunger 11 slides to right by the spring 4 for delaying a point of time to start injection. Thus, the slide face 10 slides in conjunction with an area ratio of ends faces 12, 13 and spring constants of springs 15, 16.
