Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection pump which can attain reduction of malfunction and number of assembling steps by providing freedom with a connection part between a stop lever and a stop solenoid.
SOLUTION: A connection part connecting a stop lever to a plunger is composed of a ball joint 11, a joint block 12, and a stopper 13. The stopper 13, being a disc-like member having a circle hole 13a at its center, is arranged on an axially each side of the joint block 12. The circle hole 13a is fitted around a shaft 14 of a stop lever, in a rotatable manner. An outer diameter of the stopper 13 is a little more than that of the joint block 12. In addition, the stopper 13 has a ring part 13b at its outmost diameter portion. The ring part 13a is opposed to a hexagon head part 11a of the ball joint 11, and covers an axial end of an outer diameter surface of the joint block 12.
