PURPOSE: To prevent a traverse bore from intersecting a longitudinal passage by providing a plunger different from a pump plunger in a blind bore arranged between the pump plunger and a main body and connecting the blind bore to a bore positioned in the surface including axes of the traverse bore and the blind bore.
CONSTITUTION: A groove 46 is communicated with the inner ends of a pair of blind bores 56 including a pair of different plungers 57 having the diameter smaller than those of the pump plunger 16, 16a. A pair of plungers 57 and related bores are positioned between the plunger 16 and a main body 10 and in the same sectional surface as the plunger 16. The plungers 57 are engaged with cam followers for operating the plunger 16. The inner ends of the bores 56 are connected to a radial blind passage 58 extending inward from the groove 46 by the passage 59. The passages 59 are in the surface and bored from the end surface of a projecting part of a distributor member 12. Accordingly, since the passages 59 intersect a traverse bore 15, the bores are so positioned that the plunger 16 may cover an inlet to the traverse bore 15 of the passage 59. Additionally, a washer 42 closes the passage 59.
