Title:
FUEL INJECTION QUANTITY CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3405163
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress torsional vibration of an output shaft system of a diesel engine.
SOLUTION: A control unit (ECU) 30 is provided to control a fuel injection quantity of a diesel engine 1 mounted on a vehicle 10. The ECU 30 computes a fuel injection quantity set value on the basis of an engine operating state detected by an accelerator opening sensor 31, an airflow meter 33, a crank angle sensor 35, and the like, predicts torsional vibration of an engine output shaft system at the time of fuel injection on the basis of a model of an engine output shaft system using the fuel injection quiantity set value and performs feedforwad control for correcting the fuel injection quantity set value so as to suppress this torsional vibration. The fuel injection quantity can therefore be corrected before the generation of torsional vibration, so that torsional vibration can be effectively suppressed.
