Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make commonly applicable a plurality of engine parts whose rotating torque performance is different, and to dispense with the need to make a governor lever of complicated two-lever constitution for increasing the starting fuel quantity.

CONSTITUTION: A fuel controller 3 of a governor 2 for a diesel engine 1 is constituted by an actuator 4 so as to be capable of being driven forward or backward. The rotating speed of the engine 1 is detected by a rotating speed sensor 5, and the detected rotating speed N is inputted into a fuel restriction position calculating means 6. The fuel restriction position calculating means 6 calculates and outputs the fuel restriction quantity on the basis of the detected rotating speed N, and controllingly drives the fuel controller 3 via a driving control means 7 and an actuator 4. When the detected rotating speed N is the full-load rotating speed n2 to the set rotating speed of the engine 1, the fuel controller 3 is moved forward to the full-load restriction position 4/4, and when it is the maximum torque rotating speed n3, the fuel controller 3 is moved backward to the maximum torque restriction position Tu, and further when it is the engine start rotating speed n4, the controller 3 is moved backward to the start fuel increase allowing position St.
