Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a good fuel injection rate pattern, in a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine.
SOLUTION: A fuel injection system is provided with an injection hole, a valve element 202 and a control chamber 205, the valve element 202 is moved in the valve closing direction to close the injection hole when high-pressure fluid is allowed to flow to the control chamber through an inflow passage 212, and the valve element 202 is moved in the valve opening direction to open the injection hole when high-pressure fuel is allowed to flow out from the control chamber through an outflow passage 207. Valve element moving speed control means 220 to 222 for controlling the moving speed of the valve element 202 during the movement of the valve element 202 to the valve opening direction are provided on a fuel injection nozzle.
