Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce noise when an engine runs under a low loading and to prevent the engine from misfiring in the titled device equipped with a load timer which retards a fuel injection timing when the engine runs under a low loading by providing a correction means which makes a correction to advance greatly the injection timing depending on the decrease in engine loads when the engine runs under a low loading.

CONSTITUTION: The fuel injection timing of a fuel injection pump A corresponds to the reciprocating slide timing of a plunger 3 by way of a cam plate 15, and the cam plate 15 is reciprocated to the axial direction while being engaged with a roller 16 which is displaced to the circumferential direction by a speed timer mechanism 17. The speed timer mechanism 17 includes a cylinder 31, at both sides of which a high and a low pressure chamber E and F are formed by a timer piston 18, and both of the chambers E and F are communicated each other by a communication passage 51 equipped with an altitude correction device 41. In this case, the altitude correction device 41 is provided with a solenoid 52 as a lead angle correction means, to which the magnitude of electricity is increased as an engine load is decreased when the engine runs under a low loading so as to achieve the desired end.
