PURPOSE: To make fuel injection timing controllable to an optimum, almost constant value irrespective of variations in each control element or the like, and especially improve a low temperature starting characteristic, by reflecting a learned feedback control value to an open-loop control value for use at the time of starting.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of engine driving, when an engine is so judged that it is under the ignition feedback control by an output of an ignition timing sensor 38, under the idle stabilizing state, and also under the warming-up finish state at an electronic control unit 56, whether a learning value D0 in duty control of a timer control valve 48 is larger than a duty control value D at the time of the esisting feedback control or not is judged. And, when a judgment is YES, the learning value D0 is set to the setting value, for example, such one reduced as much as by 0.1, down to a new learning value, but when NO is the case, the setting value, for example, such one adding 0.1 to the learning value D0 is set down to a new learning value. And, the duty control value is found out of this learning value, and the said control valve 48 is open-loop- controlled at the time of next starting.
