Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve starting and warming characteristics of an engine, by obtaining the fuel injection timing at starting and warming times of the engine in accordance with a temperature of cooling water, engine speed and the time elapsed after a point of perfect explosion time.

CONSTITUTION: Injection timing Ds is obtained by coefficients D1WD4. The coefficient D1 is determined by a speed and a load. The coefficient D2 is a value in accordance with a temperature of cooling water. The coefficient D3 is a value in accordance with the speed. The coefficient D4 is a value in accordance with the time elapsed after a point of perfect explosion time. The injection timing Ds is obtained from D1+(D2.D3.D4). In this way, starting and warming characteristics can be improved.
