PURPOSE: To provide a fuel injection type engine in which the number of parts can be decreased and the length of piping is reded by simplifying a piping between a fuel pump which applies pressure to the fuel and a fuel injection device.

CONSTITUTION: A combustion chamber fuel injection device 40 which injects air and fuel into a cylinder 18 at a specified timing, a fuel pump 48 which gives pressure to fuel supplied to the combustion chamber fuel injection device 40, supply pipings 52, 54 which connect the fuel pump 48 to the combustion chamber fuel injection device 40, so as to supply fuel and a regulator 53 which is connected to the supply pipings 53, 54 and regulates pressure of the fuel are provided in a fuel injection type engine 17.
