Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a variation of the valve-opening timing of a fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: An ECU 1 comprises: a DC-DC converter 21 which charges a capacitor C0 by boosting a power supply voltage VB; a charge control part 31 which operates the DC-DC converter 21 so that a charge voltage VC of the capacitor C0 reaches a target voltage; a discharge control part 35 which discharges electricity from the capacitor C0 to a coil 2a until current flowing into the coil 2a of a fuel injection valve 2 reaches a target peak value when the start timing of a drive period of the fuel injection valve 2 comes; a constant current control part 37 which makes a pickup current flow to the coil 2a until prescribed timing comes when the discharge of electricity from the capacitor C0 is finished in a drive period, and after that, makes a hold current flow to the coil 2a until the drive period is finished; and a target pickup current value control part 39 which changes the pickup current according to the charge voltage VC prior to a start of the discharge of electricity to the coil 2a from the capacitor C0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
