Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection valve capable of forming a highly homogeneous fuel spray in a combustion chamber and reducing wall adhesion. To this end, the fuel injection valve of the present invention, which injects fuel directly into a combustion chamber, is configured to include a first injection hole group in which the central axis of the fuel injection hole is directed closer to a spark plug tip portion than to the piston upper surface center side, and a second injection hole group in which the central axis of the fuel injection hole is directed closer to the piston upper surface center side than to the spark plug tip portion. The flow rate of the spray injected from the fuel injection hole of the first injection hole group is larger and the penetration of the spray is smaller than those of the fuel injection hole of the second injection hole group.
