Title:
FUEL INJECTION VALVE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3943203
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high durability enough for a high pressure fuel, by obliquely forming a stepped part acting as a supporting face of the second valve spring, to reduce the precipitous change of a diameter of a spring chamber wall part, and to make the remained wall thick.
SOLUTION: The second valve spring 31 is supported by a housing wall stepped part 35 formed in the direction of an upper edge wall 27, by the reduction of diameter of a spring chamber 21, at a side opposite to a valve element 1. The stepped part 35 is obliquely formed, and the formed chamfer has an angle of 60°. On this occasion, a supporting ring 37 for an enlarged spring supporting face, is installed close to the stepped part 35. An inflow side of a fuel passage 41 is connected with an injection tube projected from a fuel high pressure pump. By obliquely making the stepped part 35 forming a corresponding receiver of the second valve spring 31, the precipitous change of the diameter of the spring chamber can be prevented. Thereby the wall thickness of a remained valve holding body 11 surrounding the fuel passage 41, can sufficiently endure the high fuel pressure inside of the fuel passage 41.
