Abstract:

To enhance a degree of freedom of design and easiness-to-process of orifices, in a fuel injection valve for processing the orifices by press working.

This fuel injection valve has a curved surface part 30 prominently formed on an outer surface of a nozzle, stepped recessed parts 54a-59a and 54b-59b composed of a plurality of step heights formed by the press working in the curved surface part, and the orifices 54-59 formed by the press working so as to open on respective bottom surfaces of the stepped recessed parts, and has a plurality of sets of stepped recessed parts and orifices. The orifices are mutually inclined, and the stepped recessed parts have a diameter larger than the step heights positioned on the upstream side toward the step heights positioned on the downstream side, and fuel is injected from the orifices.
