To provide a fuel injection valve having a large effect of heating fuel in a fuel passage.
A needle 30 is provided reciprocatably in an axial direction in the fuel passage 22 of a housing 20, and the needle 30 opens and closes an injection hole 21 by leaving from a valve seat 23 or seating on the valve seat 23. A first coil 40 is provided at the radial outside at an end portion on an opposite side of the injection hole 21 of the needle 30 in the vicinity of the fuel passage 22 to generate a first magnetic flux M1 and generate heat when electric current flows. A second coil 50 is provided on the injection hole 21 side of the first coil and at the radial outside of the needle 30 in the vicinity of the fuel passage 22 to generate a second magnetic flux M2 and generate heat when electric current flows. A spring 60 energizes the needle 30 in a valve closing direction. An ECU 70 controls current to be applied to the first coil 40 and the second coil 50 so that the direction of the first magnetic flux M1 and the direction of the second magnetic flux M2 are opposed to each other when simultaneously applying current to both of the first coil 40 and the second coil 50.
