To provide a fuel injection valve capable of reducing dripping of an unintended residual fuel from a nozzle hole plate.
A fuel injection valve 1 includes a valve seat 14 which is attached to a suction port of an internal combustion engine in the state of being inclined from a vertical direction and in which a fuel passage 14c is formed, and a nozzle hole plate 17 which is arranged on the downstream side of the fuel passage of the valve seat and which has a plurality of nozzle holes 18 emitting a jet of fuel flowing out from the fuel passage. On an exit-side surface, to which the fuel is jetted, of the nozzle hole plate, an oil-repellent coating 20 exerting oil repellency on the fuel is applied to an upside area in an attached state, and a downside area is an area to which the oil-repellent coating is not applied.
