Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device capable of improving engine output by reducing HC emission in cold start of the engine.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 1 has an injection hole plate 30 provided with a first injection hole 31 and a second injection hole 32, and the injection hole 31 and the injection hole 32 are formed into the oval shape having a long axis and a short axis at an inlet-side opening end portion. In the injection hole 31, opposed inner wall surface portions of the injection hole 31 make a first injection hole short axis angle θ2 on a cross-section along an axis Z1 of the injection hole 31 and the short axis of an inlet-side opening end portion 31a of the injection hole 31, and in the injection hole 32, opposed inner wall surface portions of the injection hole 32 make a second injection hole short axis angle θ4 on a cross-section along an axis Z2 of the injection hole 32 and a short axis of an inlet-side opening end portion 32a of the injection hole 32. The injection hole plate 30 is constituted so that the first injection hole short axis angle θ2 is smaller than the second injection hole short axis angle θ4.
