Abstract:
To provide a fuel injection valve for enabling uniform pouring of water into fuel in a fuel oil path while suppressing the event that a slide component such as a needle valve inclines to the sliding direction.SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve for injecting fuel and water from an injection hole into a combustion chamber in a cylinder of a marine diesel engine includes the fuel oil path for distributing the fuel forcibly fed from a fuel injection pump, the needle valve for openably interrupting communication between the fuel oil path and the injection hole, a needle valve spring for energizing the needle valve to the injection hole side to interrupt the communication between the fuel oil path and the injection hole, a water pouring path for pouring the water into a predetermined position in the fuel oil path, and a water pouring check valve laid between the needle valve and the needle valve spring for openably interrupting communication between the fuel oil path and the water pouring path, the water pouring path including a symmetrical water pouring path formed to be axially symmetrical with respect to the operating-direction center axis of the water pouring check valve and having a discharge port opposed to the water pouring check valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
