Abstract:
To provide a fuel injection valve that can widen an angle of spraying from injection holes and allows spray arrangement to be closer to an entire space.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes a nozzle and a needle. The nozzle is disposed around a valve stem, and includes a sack chamber, a plurality of injection holes, and a valve seat. On a specific injection hole 13, which is at least one of the injection holes of the plurality of injection holes, an injection hole outlet 16 is of a flat shape having a long axis Ha and a short axis Hb. When the projection is made in a direction of an injection hole axis Ho connecting a center of an injection hole inlet 15 and a center of the injection hole outlet 16, a cross section length Loa of the injection hole outlet 16 is longer than a cross section length Lia of the injection hole inlet 15 in a cross section Sa in a long axis Ha direction of the injection hole outlet 16 passing through the injection hole axis Ho. A cross section length Lob of the injection hole outlet 16 is shorter than a cross section length Lib of the injection hole inlet 15 in a cross section Sb in a short axis Hb direction of the injection hole outlet 16 passing through the injection hole axis Ho.
