Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress differences among respective cylinders for a pilot injection volume and a main injection volume, in a diesel engine in which the pilot injection is carried out before the main injection.
SOLUTION: A fuel injection volume control unit comprises angular velocity detecting means for detecting a first angular velocity that is a crankshaft angular velocity before the pilot combustion of respective combustion cycles, a second angular velocity that is a crankshaft angular velocity after the pilot combustion and before the main combustion, and a third angular velocity that is a crankshaft angular velocity after the main combustion, pilot injection volume correcting means for correcting the pilot injection volume for each cylinder based on the relative energy differences among the respective cylinders obtained from said first and second angular velocity, and main injection volume correcting means for correcting the main injection volume for each cylinder based on the relative energy differences among the respective cylinders obtained from the second and third angular velocity.
