Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of main injection timing without increasing cost in a fuel injector to perform auxiliary injection before main injection.
CONSTITUTION: In a high speed drive circuit 70, a transformer 73 for charging a capacitor 71 and a charge switch 75 are arranged, and in the passage connecting the capacitor 71 and each electromagnetic coil 47, discharge switch 77 are arranged. The charge switch 75 and discharge switch 77 are controlled by a CPU 41. In addition, the voltage of the capacitor 71 is monitored by the CPU 41. In injecting fuel, after the charge of the capacitor 71 by turning on and off the charge switch 75 by fine pulses, the discharge switch 77 which has been turned on is turned off. After the completion of pilot injection, the discharge switch is turned off. Therefore, since the power has been accumulated in the capacitor 71 is discharged when main injection is conducted, high speed main injection and the improvement of accuracy can be realized.
