Title:
FUEL INJECTOR FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60261971
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the software for controlling the unit while to eliminate the power loss based on the relief valve and to suppress the oil temperature rise by eliminating the solenoid valve for controlling the step piston.

CONSTITUTION: Upon passage of a cylinder finished of fuel injection sufficiently over the top dead center in the compression stroke, the plunger 603 will lift to perform intake stroke to a compression chamber 604. Here, fuel is fed from the control oil pressure chamber 206 of a step piston 200 as well as from the low pressure feed pump 700 into the pressure chamber 604. Fuel is fed from an accumulation mechanism 3 to the pump chamber 201 of the step piston 200 to lift the large and small diameter pistons 204, 205. Upon sufficient lift of the plunger 602 to the retracting position, an opening 616 will face against the spring chamber 613 thus to communicate the pressure chamber 604 with a fuel tank 500.
