Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce machining man-hours, the number of part items and assembling man-hours in a fuel injector mounting structure for a cylinder injection type engine.
SOLUTION: A fuel injector 9 is inserted into an injector mounting hole 10 of a cylinder head 2, and an injector mounting bracket 14 is installed. A connection part 17 of a fuel delivery pipe 16 is connected to a fuel inlet 28 of the fuel injector 9, and a common bolt 18 is inserted through a mounting boss part 31 and the injector mounting bracket 14 so as to fasten them together in a common boss part 19 of the cylinder head 2. In this way, the fuel injector 9 and the fuel delivery pipe 16 can be fixed to the cylinder head 2 by means of the common bolt 18, so that machining man-hours, the number of part, and assembling man-hours can be reduced.
