This water heater 1 distributedly feeds the hot water heated by the main heat exchanger 21 to fill a bathtub B and the others with the hot water, and comprises a control part 10 for counting the consumed amount of fuel of a burner 22 heating the main heat exchanger 21. Based on the ratio of the overall flow of the hot water fed from the water heater 1 to a hot water filling flow detected by a hot water filling flow sensor 71, the consumed amount of fuel by the burner 22 is distributed to the consumed amount of fuel required for filling the bathtub B with the hot water and that required for filling those other than the bathtub B with the hot water and then counted, and the results of the counting are displayed on a display part installed in a remote control device.
