PURPOSE: To prevent adjustment of a fuel limiting bolt by a user by housing the base end of the fuel limiting bolt into a bolt base end housing part, fixing a filling body filled and solidified into the housing part on the inner surface of the housing part, and embedding the base end of the fuel limiting bolt by the filling body.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel limiting device 40 for a diesel engine makes a hemispherical tip 5 of a fuel limiting bolt 2 face a contact part 21 of a spring force inputting lever 31 and limits oscillation of the input lever 31 in the fuel increasing direction according to the advancing retreating positions of the tip 5. In this case, a bolt base end housing part 6 is recessed on a wall surface 8 of an upper wall 16 of a pump housing case 15 in order to prevent adjustment of the fuel limiting bolt 2 by a user, and the fuel limiting bolt 2 is screwed into an inner bottom wall 19 of the housing part 6, nd the bottom base end 3 is housed in the housing part 6. A filling body 7 such as synthetic resin adhesives is filled into the housing part 6 and then solidified, thereby the bolt base end 3 is embedded.
