Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a detected value by providing a tubular holder which rotates integrally with a float arm and a contact plate and a stay which has a bearing hole for supporting the float arm rotatably and is provided successively to a housing. CONSTITUTION:A resistor is fixed to the housing 2, then the float arm 4 is run through the tubular bearing part 24, and the holder 5 is fitted to the arm 4 while superposed on the bearing part 24. At this time, the radial component of the arm 4 is supported by holding the annular part 53 of the holder 5 on the tip part of the bearing part 24. The bearing span of the arm 4 can, therefore, be made long, so play is reduced and the resistance value of the resistor can be adjusted finely while the arm 4 is rotated. Then when the stay 3 is incorporated after the resistance value is adjusted finely, the radial component of the arm 4 is supported by the bearing part 24 and tubular part 52, so the tip of the arm 4 is easily fitted in the bearing hole 33 of the stay 3.
