PURPOSE: To obtain a fuel oil composition excellent in the ability to remove a deposit in a fuel induction system and in the ability to keep the system clean.
CONSTITUTION: This composition contains an amine compound represented by the formula (wherein R1 is an 8-388C hydrocarbon group; R2 and R5 are each independently a 1-36C hydrocarbon group or a group represented by (A3O)pH; R3 and R4 are each independently hydrogen or an optionally hydroxylated 1-38C hydrocarbon group; (l) is a number of 0-30; (m), (n), and (p) each is a number of 0 or larger, provided that the sum of them per molecule is 0-80; the m (A1O) groups, n (A2O) groups, and p (A3O) groups may be the same or different and each is a 2-4 alkyleneoxy group; and the 1 units in []may be the same or different).
