Abstract:

To provide fuel oil for a fuel cell suitable for transportation of automobile, etc., capable of efficiently producing hydrogen, not exerting a bad influence on a reforming catalyst and a fuel cell electrode, having a slight deterioration of a reforming catalyst, etc.

This fuel oil for a fuel cell contains ≥20 vol.% naphthene component, especially comprises a desulfurized heavy naphtha containing ≥20 vol.% naphthene component as a main component.
