To provide a fuel oil reforming apparatus having a new construction furnished with a filtration/far-infrared zone, a catalyst zone and a magnetic field zone.

The fuel oil reforming apparatus is provided with an oil reforming vessel having a reforming treatment zone 22 and a heating means such as a jacket 14 to keep the temperature in the reforming vessel 12 to a preset level. The reforming treatment zone 22 has a filtration/far-infrared zone 24, a catalyst zone 26 and a magnetic field zone 28 arranged in the order from a treating oil inlet 18 to the treated oil outlet 20. The catalyst zone 26 is composed of a decomposition catalyst (zeolite catalyst) for aromatic components and heavy components.
