Abstract:
To acquire passage characteristics of orifices in a fuel injection system in a lump.SOLUTION: A fuel passage characteristic acquisition device (30) is employed to a fuel injection system having a pressure accumulation vessel (42), a fuel injection valve (10) which is arranged in each cylinder of an internal combustion engine, and to which fuel is supplied from the pressure accumulation vessel (42) via the orifice (42a), and a fuel pressure sensor (20). When injection is performed by an injection cylinder, the fuel passage characteristic acquisition device acquires a first waveform on the basis of fuel pressure which is detected by a fuel pressure sensor of the injection cylinder, when the injection is performed by the injection cylinder, acquires a second waveform on the basis of fuel pressure which is detected by the fuel pressure sensor of a non-injection cylinder, and acquires passage characteristics of the orifices on the basis of amplitude information for reflecting an amplitude of the pulsation of the first waveform and the second waveform, timing information for reflecting the propagation timing of the first waveform and the second waveform, and a plurality of relational expressions for defining a relationship of the passage characteristics at which fuel passes the orifices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
