To provide a fuel pressure adjusting device which can prevent the self-excited vibration of a valve body.
The fuel pressure adjusting device 40 has: a first fuel passage 14 in which fuel flows to its one end; a pressure chamber 16 connected with the other end of the first fuel passage; a second fuel passage 26 which is connected to a first outlet port of the pressure chamber 16 at its one end; a third fuel passage 20 connected to a second outlet port of the pressure chamber at its one end; a valve chamber 28 which is connected to the other end of the second fuel passage and in which the fuel from the second fuel passage flows; and the valve body 30 which discharges the fuel from the inside of the valve chamber to the outside by opening an opening when the fuel pressure in the valve chamber exceeds prescribed pressure, and on the other hand, does not discharge the fuel in the valve chamber by closing the opening when the fuel pressure in the valve chamber is not higher than the prescribed pressure. When setting a resonance frequency of the first fuel passage 14 as f1, and a resonance frequency of the second fuel passage 26 as f2, a relationship of 0<f2≤5.6×f1 is established.
