Title:
FUEL-PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE FOR MODEL ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3047821
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the number of revolutions of a model engine in lower speed and improve the responsiveness of the engine in rapid acceleration by supplying an electronically-controlled fuel injector for the engine with fuel under a predetermined pressure.
SOLUTION: A model engine in operation produces a pulsating air pressure in its crankcase. The air pressure in the crankcase is lead into an air-pressure suction part 51 of a fuel-pressure control valve. The air-pressure suction part 51 includes an overpressure leak valve 57 which is adjustable in working pressure. The air-pressure suction part 51 leads to a control air-pressure supply port 54 communicating with a fuel tank with a check valve 56 interposed therebetween. The check valve 56 is adapted to feed the positive pressure of a pulsating air pressure through a control air-pressure supply pipe into the fuel tank. When the pressure in the fuel tank falls below a specified pressure, all the positive pressure of the air pressure lead into the air-pressure suction part 51 is fed into the fuel tank. When the pressure in the fuel tank reaches the specified pressure, on the other hand, the air pressure lead into the air-pressure suction part 51 is released to the outside through the operation of a control ball 60 of the overpressure leak valve 57. The check valve 56 serves to stop air pressure flowing counter from the fuel tank.
