Title:
燃料電池用燃料処理装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4412689
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel treatment device for a fuel cell capable of (1) reducing thermal stress due to generation of high temperature in the vicinity of a reformer inlet and also a radiation loss, (2) preventing deterioration of performance by suppressing a bypass flow even by providing a thin reaction vessel and generating a clearance in an upper part. SOLUTION: A partial oxidation reformer 12 has a first reforming chamber 22a charged with combustion reformed catalyst to be first supplied with original gas containing steam and air and a second reforming chamber 22b positioned in the downstream of the first reforming chamber to be charged with at least a reformed catalyst, a first reforming vessel 23a constituting the first reforming chamber is independently constituted of a second reforming vessel 23b constituting the second reforming chamber, and thermally expansibly arranged in the inside of the second reforming vessel. Each reaction chamber is divided by a vertical partition 27, and a communication part 27a is provided alternately above and below the adjacent reaction chamber, reaction gas communicates successively in an upper or lower direction with the adjacent reaction chamber.
