Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformation system capable of continuously executing a reforming operation regardless of an operation state of an engine.SOLUTION: A fuel reformation system 1 for producing a reformed fuel including alcohol by reforming a fuel mainly composed of hydrocarbon by using oxygen, includes a mixer 2 for producing a mixture of an oxydation gas and a fuel, a reforming reactor 3 in which a reforming reaction progresses under action of reforming catalyst and the reformed fuel is discharged from an outlet when the air-fuel mixture is supplied from the mixer 2, an oxidation gas supply device 4 for supplying a new oxidation gas not passing through the reforming reactor 3 to the mixer 2, a gas-liquid separator 73 for separating the reformed fuel of gas-liquid mixture discharged from the outlet of the reforming reactor 3 into a gas phase and a condensate phase, and a gas phase recirculation device 8 for supplying at least a part of the reformed fuel of the gas phase separated by the gas-liquid separator 73 to the mixer 2 as a recirculated oxidation gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
