Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel modification system in which back-fire is restrained.SOLUTION: A fuel modifications system comprises: a reformer 34 for reforming a property of fuel on a catalyst; and a fuel pipe 13f for introducing modification fuel reformed by the reformer 34 to a combustion chamber 10a of an internal combustion engine 10. Then, a passage outlet 10f of the fuel pipe 13f is connected to the combustion chamber 10a so that the modification fuel flows directly to the fuel chamber 10a without being mixed with intake air. Thus, the modification fuel is not mixed with the intake air and flows directly to the combustion chamber 10a, and therefore, mixture of the modification fuel and the intake air cannot exist in a suction pipe 13in. Therefore, back-fire in which the mixture is combusted in the suction pipe 13in can be restrained.
