In a fuel pump protecting structure 1, a metallic engine hanger EH is arranged in an engine EG so as to be disposed between a fuel pump P arranged in the engine EG and an exhaust pipe 17. The engine hanger EH has a plate part 27 having a size for covering the fuel pump P, wherein a hook part 29 is arranged in the plate part 27, and is arranged such that a mounting part 31 in which an intake pipe 15 is mounted on a main surface 27a of an exhaust pipe 17 side in the plate part 27 overhangs. The intake pipe 15 is arranged via a mounting part 31.
