The fuel pump includes a substantially disk-like impeller 3, and the casing 2 (pump body 21, pump cover 22) rotatably storing the impeller 3. The casing 2 includes a base material, and a fluorine containing film formed on the base material. The fluorine containing film is non-polar, and has a flat surface. The fluorine containing film preferably does not include a pin hole. The fluorine containing film is preferably composed of a diamond-like carbon film formed on the base material, and a fluorine containing diamond-like carbon film formed on the diamond-like carbon film. In a sliding part where the casing 2 and the impeller 3 are slid, the casing 2 preferably further has a second film having abrasion resistance on the fluorine containing film.
