Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump which prevents corrosion of a connection terminal for receiving power from the outside.SOLUTION: Compartments 451, 452, 453 for accommodating connection terminals 37, 38, 39 which are electrically connected to a coil of a stator and an outer part of an electric connector part 45 are communicated via first communication holes 461, 462, 463, 464, 476, 477, 478. The first communication holes 461, 462, 463, 464, 476, 477, 478 are formed in such a manner that, when a central axis φ of a fuel pump inclines with respect to a top and bottom direction, at least one out of directions D81, D82, D83, D84, D86, D87, D88 vertical with respect to an opening surface formed by an opening on the outer part side inclines in the bottom side. Thereby, foreign substances accumulated in the compartments 451, 452, 453 are discharged outside via the first communication holes 461, 462, 463, 464, 476, 477, 478, no matter in which direction the fuel pump inclines.
