Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for centering a rotary shaft supported by bearings provided in a motor part and a pump part more easily and highly accurately in a fuel pump which includes the common rotary shaft and in which the motor part and the pump part are provided.SOLUTION: A lower end outer peripheral surface 21A of a stator core 21 of a motor part 2 is abutted to an abutment surface 5C of a pump base 5 of a pump part 3, and a lower end face 21B of the stator core 21 is supported by a support surface 5D of the pump base 5. A cylindrical housing 4 is abutted on a circumferential abutment surface 5E of the pump base 5 and supported on a support surface 5G of the pump base 5. The housing 4 comprises caulking parts 4A and 4B in a caulking part 28B of a stator mold 23 covering a stator 19 of the motor part 2 and a caulking part 28A of a pump cover 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
