Title:
FUEL PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3812737
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a diameter in bearing structure of a fuel pump.
SOLUTION: A pipe member 45 is secured to the inner periphery of a core 42 of an armature 38 by pressure insertion, and the pipe member 45 is inserted through a fixing shaft 41. A small-diameter hole 46a and a large diameter hole 46b are formed at the center of a bearing member 46. The end of the pipe member 45 is secured and pressure-inserted in the large-diameter hole 46b, and the fixing shaft 41 is rotatably inserted in the small-diameter hole 46a to rotatably support the armatures 38 by the fixing shaft 41. A guide hole 52 formed at the center of the impeller 36 of the pump part 32 is fitted into the bearing member 46, so that the impeller 36 is guided and rotated on the outer periphery of the bearing member 46 rotating integrally with the armature 38. A coupling projection 47 formed to the armature 38 is inserted and engaged to an engagement indentation 48 formed to the impeller 36, to transfer a rotating force of the armature 38 to the impeller 36.
