Abstract:
u The fuel pump (10) comprises a housing (18) and a flywheel (20) that rotates inside the housing. There is a group of recesses (14a) formed above or below the surface of the flywheel and recesses, which form the group, repeated around the circumference of the flywheel. There is a channel (24) that has a connection to a discharge hole (25) and is formed in an inner area of the housing. The channel extends continuously in a rotational direction of the flywheel in a particular segment, upon which the group of recesses are oriented. The channel has an opening region that stands directly in connection with the discharge hole. The opening region extends in the rotational direction of the flywheel with a clamp shaft that extends from a position that corresponds to the outer periphery edge of the recesses of the flywheel.
